Welcome Class of 2018,

Congratulations on your acceptance into North Carolina State University, but more importantly, on your ultimate decision to make NCSU your home for the next four years.

While fraternities may not yet be on your mind, Greek Life plays a vital role on NCSU’s campus. When you choose to pledge a Greek fraternity, we can promise you that like us, you will not regret your decision. While you are looking to find the best organization for yourself, we Pi Kapps are looking for a specific group of men to join our ranks. Our fraternity reinforces academic pursuits, gentlemanly behavior, development of leadership, personal ethics, and offers the advantages of team effort and support.

Pi Kapps also find time to have many social functions at NCSU including Mountain Weekend and Beach Weekend. Pi Kappa Phi is the only fraternity that does both of these events. Other events include various brotherhood events, Carolina Cup, football tailgates, semi-formal, formal and sorority mixers.

The Tau Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi currently maintains one of the largest brotherhoods at NCSU. Our Alumni base is comparatively large with over 1300 active alumni. We have many well know alumnus including, Lonnie C. Poole, the single largest donor to NC State in order to finance the School of Management. The School of Management is now Poole College of Management and the Golf Course now known as the Lonnie Poole Golf Course. ┬áStuart ‘Ed’ White, another notable alumni, was one of three engineering graduates to receive The Distinguished Engineering Alumnus Award.

We invite you to see what Pi Kappa Phi is all about this fall.  Visit the rush section of the website to view our upcoming rush events. Formal Rush begins September 3rd of the 2014 Fall Semester. Please do not hesitate to contact any of the brothers if you have any questions.
